From 1912 to 1970, the Cincinnati Reds used Crosley Field as their home ball park. They were not the only professional sports team to use the venue, as the former Cincinnati Bengals would play their home football games there during the late 30s and early 40s. Crosley Field was originally called Redland Field when it was built in 1912, and was the last of three parks to stand in this very same Cincinnati, OH location at the intersection of Findlay and Western. The Reds would use Crosley field until the middle of the 1970 season when they began playing home games at Riverfront Stadium.
