The New Haven Coliseum in Connecticut, active from 1972 to 2002, was a notable multi-purpose arena. Known for its distinctive suspended seating design, it hosted sports events, concerts, and conventions. It notably hosted the minor-league New Haven Nighthawks and Beast hockey teams among several others, and served as a venue for numerous big-name concerts. After its demolition in 2007, the coliseum remains a symbol of New Haven's urban and cultural history.
