Dallas Chaparrals Basketball Women's T-Shirt
The Dallas Chaparrals began in 1967 as a charter member of the ABA, or American Basketball Association. They were not a very popular team and could only attract small crowds usually in the hundreds for their home games at Moody Coliseum. Ownership had the idea to make the team regional for the 1970-71 season, and made the team the Texas Chaparrals. They would alternate home games between Dallas, Lubbock, and Forth Worth. The Chaparrals would return to Dallas full time after that failed experiment, playing its home games at the Dallas Convention Center until the team was sold and moved to San Antonio. It was here that the franchise would eventually merge with the NBA and become the current San Antonio Spurs.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
