Wildwood, New Jersey welcomed yet another pier opening in 1996. This one was a jurassic style theme park called Dinosaur Beach Pier, opening only a few years after the extrmemely popular Jurassic Park movies released. The new ownership would keep some of the older rides from the previous Hunt's Pier, simply renaming them to fit the new Dinosaur Beach brand. The amusement park would also include non Jurassic themed rides as well as a gift shop until closing in 1998 after three years in operation.
