Now defunct, Roseland Park was an amusement park in Canandaigua, New York along the shoreline of the Canandaigua Lake. It originally opened in 1925 under the name Lakeside Park with only a few attractions, one of which was a dance hall for the Roseland Ballroom in NYC. The dance hall was such a hit that the owners changed the name to Roseland shortly after opening. As time wore on, the park would have multiple owners and a number of attractions, eventually closing in 1985 after 60 years of operation.
