Completed in 1967, San Diego Stadium was very similar to other multi-use venues of its time hosting both the MLB Padres, and NFL Chargers. The San Diego Sockers of the NASL also played here for 6 seasons. Other notable events included three Super Bowls and 2 MLB All-Star games.
