A throwback to the Boom Boom Room, the bar inside Laguna's Coast Inn. It was a haven for gay and lesbian guests since the 1940s, and one of the oldest gay bars in the western United States. Laguna artists, Hollywood weekenders, and marines from the nearby bases all found their way there, and by the '70s the Boom was the disco heart of Orange County. In the '80s a memorial garden went in on the property, the final resting place for the ashes of more than fifty men lost to AIDS. It closed in 2007 when the building sold, despite a campaign to save it.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
