A throwback to Charlie Nickens' Famous Pit Barbecue, a Jefferson Street landmark since 1934, known for its pit 'cue and drive-in service, and prominent enough that the mayor himself posed out front. It stood in the heart of Jefferson Street, the historic center of Black Nashville and the city's original Music Row, where Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, and Ray Charles played the clubs and the neighborhood thrived until Interstate 40 cut through in the '60s and changed it forever. A piece of Nashville that mattered. If you ate at Charlie Nickens', you remember it.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
