A throwback to Club Trocadero, the South State Street strip club at 525 South State in Chicago, on the stretch of the Loop where burlesque had been packing them in since the turn of the century. No cover, no minimum, shows every night. By 1948 the local nightlife guides were listing it among the city’s best places to see a girl in not much at all, and half-joking that you should tell somebody where you were headed before you went in. The Folly burlesque house had been down the block for thirty years before it. South State never did go to bed early.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
