The Fayetteville Force played four season in the CHL with home games at Crown Coliseum. The team saw home crowds averaging 4,000+, and were well known for exciting fight and fun intermission contests like half ice shots at beer cans to win a free case of beer. When the league folded in 2001 the team went along with it, and it would be two more years until another team filled the seats at Crown Coliseum.
