A throwback to the Flamingo Room, the tropical supper club across the river in East Hartford, palm fronds and pink birds in a Connecticut factory town, which was exactly the point. Postwar America wanted a night out that felt like somewhere warmer, and rooms like this one sold it by the cocktail, a few miles from the engine plants. Not much of it survives but the name.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
