A throwback to Gammon’s, the Pittsburgh restaurant and cocktail lounge with a sign on Forbes Avenue in Oakland and a room on North Highland in East Liberty. A dark booth, a pair of martinis, and someone worth sharing them with. Ros Gammon ran it like a man who knew his business, and when the city tried to start grading restaurants he called the whole system unfair and said he’d think so even if they gave him top marks. Gammon’s was gone from Highland Avenue by 1974. The booths were good while they lasted.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
