A professional ice hockey team known as the Macon Whoopees, played in the Southern Hockey League during the 1973–74 season, but poor attendance led the team to disband mid-season. Their home ice was the Macon Coliseum. Hockey was not resurrected in Macon until 1996. The new team, known as the Whoopee (without the plural "s"), played in the Central Hockey League from 1996 to 2001. After several owners endured seasons of poor attendance and financial losses, the team finally went bankrupt in 2001.

Great design.Great fit. Great quality. Overall great shirt
The fact that you can find defunct sports teams t-shirts is great! Several people asked me if that was actually a team and I said to Google it. What a funny concept and design. Shirt runs a little small so maybe order the next size up if you want some room. Super happy with my purchase!
Waited over 3 weeks for this shirt. It was supposed to be a present, shipping told me 7-10 days.
Will not purchase from this company again. Over priced silk screen t-shirt that took way to long to receive.
