A throwback to Mister Kelly's, the 200-seat room at 1028 North Rush that spent twenty-two years turning unknowns into stars. Barbra Streisand played her first major nightclub engagement there. Richard Pryor worked out the voice that changed American comedy on that stage. Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan cut live albums in the room, and the Marienthal brothers who ran it booked Black performers when plenty of North Side clubs wouldn't. One catch: the club was named for its manager, who got fired right after opening night.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
