The Portland Breakers were an American football team that played in the United States Football League (USFL) in the mid-1980s. Before moving to Portland, Oregon for the 1985 season, the franchise was previously in Boston, Massachusetts as the and New Orleans, Louisiana. Despite changing locations, they were known as the Breakers all 3 seasons from 1983-1985.
