A throwback to Regal Lager, brewed in Detroit in the lean years right after Prohibition and sold "In the Green Steinie" — that squat green bottle the brewery built its whole pitch around. Regal Brewing didn't last long, folding into Eckhardt & Becker by 1938, but its label and matchbooks live on. A taste of old Detroit brewing. If you know your Motor City beer history, you know Regal.
