San Diego Conquistadors Basketball Men/Unisex T-Shirt
The American Basketball Association decided to put a team in San Diego, California in 1972. The team would be called the Conquistadors, or The Q's which caught on as a popular nickname for the team. They played their home games in multiple locations all over San Diego. Their first home stadium was Peterson Gymnasium on the campus of San Diego State university, followed by Golden Hall in 1973, and San Diego Sports Arena for the 1974 season. The Q's would complete three full seasons in the ABA, two of which included their most famous player ever, Wilt Chamberlain. Once Wilt left, the team struggled to put fans in the seats and never finished their last season before folding in 1975.
