A throwback to the Santa Anita Turf & Bar, the downtown Las Vegas race book at 113 Fremont Street, right next door to the Frontier Club. Dave and Sam Stearns opened it in July 1948 with slots, blackjack, craps, roulette, and a board full of horses running somewhere else. The catch was that they couldn’t get a race wire, so, as the story goes, they hid a microphone in the Frontier Club and took the results from their neighbors. The county commission had its doubts. It lasted until 1952, and the Golden Nugget swallowed the address in 1969. Old Vegas, before anyone bothered to pretend otherwise.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
