A throwback to Skipper's Dock, the seafood house on Front Street in Noank, looking out over Long Island Sound. Sidney Wood lost most of his fortune in the '29 crash, put his last savings down on a fishing business, and started selling sandwiches and coffee off the wharf. It grew into a restaurant famous for charcoal-broiled lobster and Chef Doc Smith's clam bisque, drawing the rich and famous right up until it closed in 1954. A piece of the old Connecticut shoreline. If you ate at Skipper's Dock, you remember it.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
