A throwback to Paul Streeter's Stratosphere Club, the highest restaurant in Chicago when it opened in 1937. It was four floors in the crown of the Jewelers Building at Wabash and Wacker, with the kitchen on 37, dining on 38 and 39, and a cocktail lounge up on 40 done up to feel like the basket of a hot air balloon. Tour guides still swear Al Capone ran a speakeasy up there. He was in Alcatraz by the time it opened, and liquor was legal again. The view was the point.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
