A brand trademarked in December 1933, within days of Prohibition's repeal, when Continental raced a whole stable of labels to market the moment America could drink legally again. The name and the galloping jockeys played the sweepstakes for all it was worth. A taste of Philadelphia's just-legal-again 1930s. If you know your Prohibition-repeal whiskey, you know Sweepstakes.
