A throwback to T. Pittari's, the New Orleans institution that opened in 1895 and reigned for decades at South Claiborne, where its "Queen of the Seas" lobsters swam in a tank right in the dining room, the first restaurant in the city to serve live Maine lobster. It was just as famous for a wild-game menu that ran to elephant, bear, and hippopotamus, and for an owner who paid cab drivers to deliver tourists to his door. Repeated flooding finally sank it around 1981. If you ate at Pittari's, you never forgot it.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
