A throwback to the Brown Derby Theatre Cafe, a Loop nightspot in wartime Chicago, back when the theater crowd came downtown for a show and stayed out for dinner and a floor show after. It was going strong through the war years and drew enough attention that in 1946 the federal price-control office took it to court. Every big city had a Brown Derby once. Chicago’s had a stage, a bar, and the government watching the menu prices.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
