A throwback to the Irisher, a Mason Street cocktail lounge in San Francisco’s Tenderloin that billed itself as the most colorful in the city. It made its pitch plainly: a pin-up in fishnets and not much else, a shamrock, and continuous entertainment. The Tenderloin ran on bars, nightclubs and girlie shows from the end of Prohibition through the war years and after, a few blocks from the department stores and the theater crowd on Market Street. The Irisher was one of dozens of rooms promising a good time all night long. Most colorful was a high bar in that neighborhood.
Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.
