A throwback to Tower Liquor Store on Marquette Avenue, downtown Minneapolis, from an era when a bottle in the desk drawer was just part of doing business. It sat in the shadow of the Foshay Tower, the Art Deco landmark that ruled the skyline from 1929 until the IDS Center finally passed it in 1972, and it wore that address with pride.
