The Washington Caps were a professional basketball team that played one season in the American Basketball Conference, or ABA. The team began as the Oakland Oaks when the league started in 1967, but after a couple seasons the franchise was bought by new ownership and relocated to Washington D.C. They would rebrand the team, changing their colors to green and gold, but would only last for the 1969-1970 season. In 1970, the NBA-ABA merger was in discussions, and the Caps were forced to move for a second time in as many years. Ownership did not change and the team would move to Richmond, VA to become the RIchmond Squires.

Our women’s slim-fitting t-shirt features a classic set-in crew neck collar with tapered shoulders, and side seam stitching to ensure it keeps it’s shape wash after wash. We use an incredibly soft cotton that’s combed and ringspun. With a fabric weight of 4.2 oz, they have just the right amount of comfort and breathability.

Please note: Our women’s t-shirt runs small for most people so we suggest ordering at least one size up. See our size chart for exact dimensions. If you prefer a more relaxed fit we recommend the men/unisex option.
