Wichita Wind Hockey Men/Unisex T-Shirt
Based in Wichita, Kansas, the Wind were a minor league professional hockey team from the early eighties. The team name was chosen from a team naming contest that garnered nearly 7000 entries. The Wind played in the Central Hockey League and would use Britt Brown Arena for their home games. While they were only in operation from 1980-1983, the Wind was a feeder team for NHL hockey teams like the Edmonton Oilers and New Jersey Devils.
